Prevent Cancer Foundation to Bridge the Political Aisle on Friday at the National Building Museum, but You Can Bid From Home

Prevent Cancer Foundation at the National Building Museum March 10th

The Prevent Cancer Foundation will host its 23rd annual spring gala to advance the Foundation’s mission of saving lives across all populations through cancer prevention and early detection. Members of Congress from both sides of the aisle will attend, along with diplomats and leaders in the business, government, medical, sports, media and social communities. The Foundation will welcome 1,000 guests to the National Building Museum.

In 2016, the event raised $1.5 million to support research, education, outreach and advocacy.  This year’s theme, “Icon of Innovation,” will honor Italy and His Excellency, Armando Varricchio, the Ambassador of Italy to the United States.

The gala décor is personally designed by celebrity party planner David Tutera, who is a member of the Foundation’s Board and will attend the event.

The evening will include an opportunity for guests to bid on hotly-anticipated items in the silent auction. The auction is live on BidPal and can be accessed at
